Overview

Reinventing the Organization with AI helps leaders move past isolated pilots and one-off experiments to build the conditions an organisation actually needs to scale AI safely, strategically and sustainably. The emphasis is on the human, operational, legal and cultural foundations required to redesign your people strategy, products and operating model around AI.

This is an official Harvard Online course, featuring faculty from the Harvard Faculty of Arts & Sciences and Harvard Kennedy School, and delivered on Harvard Online's learning platform. IPMC International handles your registration, payment and local support, then enrols you on the course. The format is self-guided within a scheduled cohort, and the certificate of completion is issued by Harvard Online.

What you'll learn

The course builds three connected sets of leadership capabilities:

• Redesign your organisation around AI — reimagine your people strategy, products and operating models to support enterprise-scale AI adoption, and identify where AI can create strategic advantage across teams, workflows and customer-facing offerings.
• Build advocacy and overcome resistance — develop practical methods for winning stakeholder buy-in and moving initiatives past organisational hesitation, addressing the human and cultural barriers that slow adoption, from uncertainty and misalignment to change fatigue.
• Scale AI safely and measurably — establish approaches for measuring AI's impact against clear business outcomes, and apply legal, compliance and governance considerations so initiatives scale responsibly and sustainably.

Dustin Tingley — Your instructor. The Thomas D. Cabot Professor of Public Policy at Harvard, with a joint appointment in the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Government Department. A data scientist who serves as Deputy Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, he has helped many organisations apply data science and machine learning across fields including education, politics and economics.
