From humble beginnings
Before IPMC became one of West Africa's largest ICT and education groups, it was one man, one room, and one hand-built computer. Everything we do today, in Ghana, the UAE and beyond, grew from these first steps.

A computer built by hand
Our founder assembles a computer himself and uses it to program an accounting software package. That single machine, and the software written on it, marks the true beginning of IPMC's IT journey.
One van for everything
IPMC's first ever vehicle. By day it delivered computers to customers across Accra; by evening it doubled as the family car. When you only have one van, it learns to do everything.
A door of our own
The entrance to IPMC's first office, hand-painted with the logos of the partners we were proudest to represent. It wasn't much to look at, but walking through that door meant everything.

A little room with a few computers, and a team determined to make the most of them. From this single room, IPMC would grow into a company serving customers across an entire region.
Teaching the next generation
As the IT shop grew into a training institution, the founder took to the podium himself, addressing class after class of graduates who would carry technology into offices and classrooms across the country.
Every certificate, by hand
Certificate by certificate, IPMC put qualifications into the hands of a new generation, the same hands that once built a computer now handing over the proof of someone else's hard work.
Recognised for excellence
Years of steady work earned national recognition: the President's Award for Outstanding Institutional Achievement, a milestone that placed IPMC among the country's most respected names in education.
Filling the auditorium
From one room with a few computers to an auditorium filled with graduands. Each year the cohorts grew larger, and the ceremonies with them.
A campus of our own
The single room became IPMC University College, a modern campus in the heart of Accra where students arrive each day to build the careers they came for.
Bringing Harvard Online courses within reach
Today IPMC supports learners enrolling in selected Harvard Online courses. Harvard Online provides the curriculum, assessments, learning platform and certificates; IPMC provides counselling, registration, payment facilitation and local learner support.
A community of learners
Cohort after cohort passes through our classrooms, ambitious individuals and teams learning together and carrying what they gain back into workplaces across the region.
Thousands of graduates, and counting
IPMC's story is now written by the thousands of students who've passed through its doors. What started as a two-person IT shop became an institution. The mission never changed; only the scale did.
